SURFERS from Siargao Island and La Union topped the recent 13th Lanuza Surfing Festival at the Doot Poktoy Surfing Paradise in Surigao del Sur.

Veteran Edito “Piso” Alcala led the charge of the Siargao bets by retaining the Shortboard Men’s Open crown, with teammate Peterpaul Alipayo capturing runner up honors.

Jay-r Esquivel and Jefferson Basquina Dela Torre, both from La Union, settled for third and fourth place, respectively.
