I have never been to Palawan but I think I just found something very similar, but with few people...
Off the North Eastern coast of Mindanao you can find the Dinagat Islands.
A simple 1 hour boat ride away from Surigao city is all it takes to get there. Once there we "Pakyaw" (hired) a boat... and found paradise. Super Apir!
