Caraga tourist arrivals to reach 2M by end of 2015
General Luna, Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte – Officials from the various local government units (LGUs), Department of Tourism (DOT), National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) yesterday said that, with the growth of the tourism industry in Caraga region in recent months, tourist arrivals are expected to reach two million by the end of the year.
The officials have noted that tourists from the United States, China, Australia Korea, Germany, Japan, Canada, United Kingdom, France and Switzerland have returned consistently to the various tourism destinations spread all over Caraga region.
