DINAGAT ISLANDS is not yet known to most travellers as a tourist destination. It is composed of hundred of islands and islets waiting to be discovered.

We spent 3 days exploring the islands and 3 days is not enough hoho! ? (my gases! is very Ganda talaga in here). We passed through numerous beach coves, lush green island and it's beauty are really jaw-dropping aside from its gentle, welcoming people (as in very accommodating ang mag pepz) ☺️ . Dinagat Islands Province is divided into seven municipalities, including the provincial capital San Jose, Basilisa, Cagdianao, Dinagat, Libjo, Loreto, Tubajon. Declared as 80th province of the Philippines in 2006.

How to get there:
From Davao ride a bus in Ecoland terminal going to Surigao City. Upon arrival hire a tricycle to bring you to Surigao City Seaport.
From Surigao City Seaport, there are boats and ferries going to San Jose between 5:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Trips beyond 3:00 PM are occasional. The travel time from Surigao City to San Jose is around 1.5 hours. The fare is P100 per head.
