Another New Route Soon to Launch: Ceres Transport to Connect Cubao and Davao

The long-haul bus travel landscape in the Philippines is about to change forever. Ceres Transport Incorporated, a member of the Yanson Group of Bus Companies, is set to launch its latest and most ambitious route yet: a direct link from Cubao, Quezon City to Davao City. This new service will be a game-changer for commuters and travelers, offering a seamless journey that spans across the country's three major island groups.

A Journey of a Lifetime

This new route is not just a bus ride; it's a grand tour of the Philippines. The new service will depart from Cubao in Quezon City and take passengers on an incredible journey, passing through strategic points and scenic provinces. The route will include:

  • Luzon: Departing from the busy hub of Cubao, the bus will head south, stopping at the Batangas City Pier to board a roll-on/roll-off (RORO) ferry.

  • Visayas: Passengers will then traverse the islands of Panay, visiting provinces like Aklan, before continuing to Iloilo City and Bacolod City. The journey will continue with a ferry ride to Negros Island, passing through Dumaguete City, and another RORO trip to Mindanao.

  • Mindanao: Upon arrival in Mindanao, the bus will travel through Dipolog City, Iligan City, and Cagayan de Oro City. The route then takes a scenic turn through the heart of Bukidnon province, covering Manolo Fortich, Malaybalay City, Valencia City, Maramag, and Quezon, before finally reaching its destination in Davao City.

This extensive route is expected to become one of the longest and most comprehensive inter-island bus services in the country, providing a convenient alternative to air travel and a more direct connection for those traveling between Luzon and Mindanao.

Introducing the Next-Generation Bus

To handle the demands of this marathon route, Ceres Transport is deploying its new fleet of Viking 11th Generation buses. While specific details on the "11th Generation" are still forthcoming, the Viking line is a well-known model in the industry, often associated with a combination of durability, comfort, and advanced features.

These new buses are expected to be equipped with amenities that will make the long journey as comfortable as possible for passengers, including enhanced seating, air conditioning, and possibly on-board Wi-Fi and entertainment systems. The move signals Ceres Transport's commitment to providing a premium and reliable travel experience on its new flagship route.

The launch date for this new service has yet to be officially announced, but excitement is already building among frequent travelers and bus enthusiasts. Stay tuned for more updates as Ceres Transport prepares to connect the nation with this historic new route.
